Tournament CheckList

This section provides relevant information for coaches and team managers.

Registration: Did you register your team and pay the $300 as soon as possible required to hold your spot!

Accommodation: Did you book your hotel rooms! As a condition of acceptance, all out-of-town teams MUST reserve rooms through the hotel web page and stay ONLY at an authorized hotel. Hotels on our list are key sponsors of this sport event. Without their support, this event will not take place. Thank You!

Did you fill out the Team roster document, TEAM_ROSTER-ALIGNEMENT-HIGH SCHOOL INVITATIONAL(2017-18), to be submitted 1 MONTH prior the date of the event. You can make final changes before the first game of the tournament.

Rules. Coach and team manager: Did you download, read and print the tournament hockey rules before the tournament. Contact us if you have any questions!

Did you make the final payment 1 MONTH before the date of the event!

Rink Directions. Do you have adequate directions to the rink in Kingston, On, Canada?

Final schedule. Check on continuous basis carefully the schedule posted on the right-hand side of the web site before coming to this event in case of last minute changes?

Waiver Liability Release. Please carefully the Waiver Liability release before the date of the tournament to discharge the tournament organization and the City of Kingston, as well as the tournament sponsors, staff, officials, and volunteers, from all demands, claims, costs, and liabilities of any nature arising in connection with participation in or attendance at the tournament.

Insurance. All teams must arrange for their own insurance. Thank you!

Trainer. You should have 1 member of your staff to be a certified trainer (first responder) if you have more than 2 teams in this tournament.

Game starting time. For a tournament during the week, games may start at 7:00 a.m. during the week. For a weekend tournament, games will start on Friday around 11:30 AM. Always be at the rink 1 hr before the game in case we need to start a game earlier.

Mouthguards are mandatory for Boys if the team’s hockey league requires them, not mandatory for Girls, but strongly recommended.

Dressing room. Teams will be responsible financially for any damage to dressing rooms or LEAVING IT in a “real dirty shape”. A FINE of 200$ MIN or more will be charged to the guilty team.

During the tournament, we encourage coaching staff and team managers to present a proper code of conduct for all games and activities taking place and to be respectful of their peer coaches. Thanks for your collaboration.
